Smak Coffee Co. is a family-run coffee roaster based in Cape Town. The word Smak means “taste” or “flavour” in Polish, Danish and Swedish and this underpins the focus of their coffee.
Originally named Uber Coffee, when they approached us to develop a website that reflects their rebrand as Smak Coffee Co. So, we aimed to create a minimalistic site that achieves the careful balance of visual beauty, functionality, and storytelling.
The result features a clean, modern design with an earthy colour palette, simplistic imagery, and clean sans-serif typography. The structured layout and large typography allow the content to feel premium and purposeful. It’s a design that feels minimalistic yet rich, much like the craft of brewing a perfect cup of coffee.
